Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Super SloMo ("the app", "we") is an iOS application for capturing and reviewing 240fps slow-motion video, published at superslomo.ai. This policy describes what information the app handles and what happens to it. Questions are always welcome at support@superslomo.ai.

2. What the app records — and what it doesn't

• Video: While the camera screen is open, the app keeps a short rolling video buffer in memory so you can save the last few seconds on demand. This buffer lives only in your device's memory and is continuously discarded as new footage replaces it. It is written to storage only when you tap Save.
• No audio: The app never records sound. It does not request microphone access, and saved videos are silent by design.
• No location, no contacts, no photos library access beyond the videos the app itself creates.

3. Where your videos live

Saved videos are stored locally on your iPhone, inside the app's own storage. They stay there until you delete them. They are not backed up, synced, or transmitted anywhere by the app itself.

4. Uploading and sharing

If you choose to upload a video to share it, that video is transmitted to and stored on our servers, and you receive a private link. Please know:

• Uploads happen only when you explicitly tap upload/share — never automatically.
• Anyone who has the link can view the shared video, so share links thoughtfully.
• Along with the video we store minimal technical metadata (such as the video's duration and creation time) needed to display it.
• You can request deletion of any uploaded video by contacting support@superslomo.ai, and we will remove it from our servers.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Super SloMo Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple; we never see or store your payment details. Your subscription status is verified on-device through Apple's StoreKit framework. Purchases can be managed or cancelled at any time in your Apple ID settings.

6. Data stored on your device

The app stores small amounts of housekeeping data locally on your device, such as your free-tier usage counters and video metadata. This information never leaves your device and is removed if you delete the app.

7. Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no cross-app tracking. We do not build profiles of you and we do not sell or share personal information with data brokers.

8. Permissions the app requests

• Camera — required to capture slow-motion video. Requested the first time you open the camera screen.
• Nothing else. No microphone, no location, no notifications are required for core functionality.

9. Children

Super SloMo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has uploaded a video to our servers, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Data retention

Videos on your device are retained until you delete them or uninstall the app. Uploaded videos remain on our servers until you ask us to remove them or we retire the sharing service, at which point they are deleted.

11. Security

Uploads are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Shared videos are accessible only via their unique link. No security measure is perfect, but we aim to keep the amount of data we hold to the minimum needed to run the sharing feature.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on superslomo.ai.
